i’m not a fighter but i am a board certified moron who has gotten into an inordinate amount of severe crush injuries involving my hands.
The implants are fine, glass magnets are of a slight concern given they build up micro stress but the amount of incidents with them is very low.
All non magnet glass implants are incredibly durable, i have been hit by cars, come off my bike at full speed skidding on my hands and arms for meters, smashed into walls, had my hands crushed between a wall and a rolling cage full of crates of beer and my RF implants all survived even when bits of my skeleton did not.
If you are chipped in P0 (between thumb and finger) or any of the non-finger positions, you will have a good deal of squishy flesh to absorb the shock of any impacts, p0 especially as there’s no bone, it’s just flesh and it’s not a primary contact surface for day to day or martial activities.
I have chip implants in my most of my fingers at the first knuckle aswell as all over my hand in various locations and they have all held up under insane amounts of punishment.
edit to add: implants when fully healed get encapsulated in a little flesh pocket by the body, if you get absolutely ragged around and happen to take a lot of hits directly on the implant, it could cause the flesh encapsulation pocket to tear, the body then fills the pocket with fluid, fixes the pocket and then drains the fluid.
tthe implant area would swell in which case get an xray just to be sure but it’s most likely just the pocket, if you get to experience this you’re probably already pretty battered.
