The favourites list you have when you don’t need a favourites list.
This works best in my opinion.
Thanks for your work on this.

Awesome! Thanks man! I really want to use Apex Manger as my default since it gives you 2 codes, but when I am try to login I am usually in a hurry and have a hard time identifying the right code quickly since I have a lot of codes and the white on gray names blend together. Icons make it easy to identify quickly.
I’m the same. Not a huge fan of the drag-and-drop sorting on mobile.
If you add the ability to sort alphabetically, then you kind of get manual sorting for free since people can just edit the Issuer name if they want to “favorite” something or move it to a different place.
I tend to use the Yubico app with my Apex instead of Apex Manager for OTP codes. Here are the reasons (small differences mostly).
single finger tap to generate codes (tap the app, scan the chip, done) vs tap, scan, tap for Manager (only easy-ish way I can see to enable that would be an option to start the OTP part of the Manager app automatically, with a hamburger menu to get back to the main app select screen)
quick search/filter – this is more useful to me than sorting/reordering. I only have a few OTP codes on my Apex right now, but I have 20+ on my physical Yubikey and if I couldn’t do a quick filter (where entries change on each keystroke) I don’t think I would use the app
space in the code display 388 729
vs 388729
– It’s small, but visually splitting the code into two groups makes it substantially easier and quicker store in short-term memory when mentally relaying the code from phone to keyboard to website login. With the space (two groups of three) I can glance at the code and enter it without having to subvocalize the numbers. With the space (one group of 6), I have to say the numbers to myself before repeating them as I type/enter.
oooh! nice. Thanks!
I actually added an option to push to the OTP screen with codes generated from the starting screen in the last update.
EDIT: @Pilgrimsmaster you beat me to it:P
This is actually a really good point. I like this a lot. I’ll add that in this update.
I’ll look into this. There is a bit of work involved in this, but I do see the appeal. Once I get this other project I’m nearly done with, I do think I’d like to bounce back and add this in.
Whoops, wrong credit. Thanks @Aoxhwjfoavdlhsvfpzha
I took it as a compliment
Just a heads up y’all. I just published a new update. OTP reordering and icon support. Went ahead and wrote up a little change note here:
