Best “feeling” magnet

What magnet do you guys think is the best one for being able to feel it?

Where do you plan on installing it?

Location 5

I got an xg3 v1 but I just wanna make sure that’s the best one for feeling magnetic fields. Ik that you don’t really feel them often unless you’re like right up against a microwave but that’s why I want the most powerful one for that.

So, P5 huh!?

I will prefix this with, I do not have any magnets, AND I get the idea of P5 (knife edge) BUT from my observations, more often than not, P5 turns out to be better in theory than practice.

Example

There are exceptions to this and some people happy with it, but I would suggest, that you consider another location.

Another reasonto avoid the knife edge is, the skin is thick there, and fewer sensitive nerves.

For “best” sensitivity you would want, fingertips or foreskin, but neither would be a pleasant install.

Check out here for some more ideas

“Best” is subjective but it can also be quantifiable.
Of the xG3s the v1 is the better sensing magnet, and there is nothing wrong with settling for the xG3v1
But
There have been some great advances in encapsulation of magnetic implants and there is a new catalog of options to choose from.

Here is a link to the newer biomagnets to check out

These are what I would reccomend

I have an xG3 V1 in my forearm, initially there was a bit of sensing ability but only for large currents (we have some 300A welders at work that I could feel if I was standing next to them when they clicked on).

As time has passed over the last few years that ability has weakened as the skin on my arm has thickened and I’ve put on a few kilos haha.

I used to use it mainly for “lifting” I could stick a few screws to it when I was working on electronics projects, but nowadays it doesn’t hold too much.

Though your mileage may vary.
