Biosafe resin for Microsd

I bought some “raw” QI coils to test that specific idea, but i wont have time to touch anything for a few more weeks …

@Satur9 has a good working design of a receiver coil pcb… could coax that into something I’m sure

What about repurposing one of the old ezshare cards that had the integrated Wi-Fi chip in them?

Great idea. Last time I looked, they were a difficult find…that was a number of years ago, I can only assume, they will be even more difficult now

Didn’t they also have a complicated and problematic transfer system? They would only transport one direction I think from a previous conversation

Just found one poking around

Actually, the one I was thinking of was an NFC transfer SD Card,

Sounds perfect right?
Before you get excited, the card was very limited.
Transfers thumbnails to an app, one way only, jpeg only
In case people are interested, don’t be, it misses many marks

Amal and I dabbled wit this a few years ago. Tried esp32 combined with an sd card. Transfer rates were slow.

I also bort one of those wifi sd cards…i dont remember what the issue was ill see if i can dig up the old convo.

iirc you could download from it but not download to it.

How much heat do these devices produce?

Waŕm to the touch. When in use.

The body is also a terrific heat sink, probably nothing to worry about. Assuming the bioresin can deal with it

PJabbs and I are still working on the bodybytes. I just haven’t had enough of an update to put in the forum thread cause people get all excited and it’s slow going. Designing the modules for Symbiont Labs and traveling have taken up a lot of my time lately, but I really want to design the bodybytes PCB in the next month or two.

I think I have the design criteria worked out for the hardware layout, I just need some assurance from PJabbs that we can realistically do a secure recovery boot sector activated by a digital hall effect sensor with the trolink MT7628DAN module that we’re using.

The source files for the Qi receiver all in one PCB I designed are at the bottom of this page so you could order yourself if you want or use the design as a reference. It’s been awhile so you can actually use the BQ51013C as a pin compatible replacement and it’s Qi2.0 compatible compared to the old one which is only Qi 1.0

That’s really interesting. If the boot sector is corrupted, it can be recovered by a magnetic field from a specific polarity?

Triggering a specific pin on boot by holding a magnet near to a hall effect sensor will cause the implant to enter the read only recovery boot sector, then you can overwrite the other memory sectors containing the operating system. That’s the idea any way. I kind of can’t continue with hardware development until some system like that has been implemented on the chipset we intend to use.
