Hi! I don’t want to be ignorant. I have read a bit on the internet but I am not able to understand why DESFire EV2 is better than “usual” NFC. Could someone explain to me some other way of use, for example. I don’t understand the concept of multi-application. Do any access systems require more complicated protocols and that’s why this was created?

For normal people, security, for most here, you can have 8Kb of NDEF e.g. a vcard with image.
