Awsome thankyou so much for that. So we managed to get both readers working on the system with a working autodetect. Only the reverse lock direction check box to be added to the softap and that should be it for the basic code. We are at 78% ish memory capacity so i may imbelish the ui… maybe not…

The faulty Pcbs came today. Apart from not working. It fits all the modules and componens great. Will amend and reorder…

if instead of Mousebites you added Vscores will they still consider it seperate designs?
yeh… ive even tried being sneeky and putting traces through mouse bites,strategically placed via, blatant holes labled mounting screws .im suprised the dont flag the 4mm wide tht pad, thats just so i can snip it off and get free side plating coz thats also extra, spent hours arguing with jlcpcb to get that . this is my 48th pcb… just print the dam thing, they offer 100mm x 100mm, im using a quarter of that… i guess i need to time it right so i catch friday afternoon in china, to take advantage of the ''fuck it ,that will do, its friday ‘’ mentality,

side note, im trying to avoid sitting at the door with a soldering iron during installation, id like to make everything assembled and coded at the bench, so im gonna build the reader in one handle, and the motor and pcb in the other with a connector to join them together, so ive been connector hunting and i found these connectors when looking for something small enuff, to fit behind the handle and fit through the pre-drilled holes in a pvc door,
Have you considered the jst form factor. Like a 6p ph2 connector

yep. i need 7 pins, (just realised i posted a 6 pin image above.) so been looking for 8p, with cables on both ends about 200mm, didnt find anything, but these cables are 2,17p shipped to my door each, and they are a meter long, beats soldering cat6
Why not an 8p zh1.5 Jack and plug. Gotta be less than a dollar from aliexpress, and there cheap to add to your bom

saw lots of those, i need cables on both connectors . i wont fit that in the reader or on the pcb 
I was thinking you needed it to be low profile.
I figured you use the jack on both the readers and the cable as a jumper.
Sadly theres no room in the reader case or on the pcb for the connectors. These ends are solder and the connector is tucked away behind the handles.
So last update for a while. Codes all done and works. (Minus reverse locking direction) ive ordered enuff conponents to make 5 locks. And we are looking at about 30 gbp all in. Im waiting on those compontents to arive.
The pcbs are amended and have been ordered . They will also take 12 days.
Couplings should be completed next week.
Motor housing and reader case have been finalised. And are ready to be 3d printed.

bettter pic of the case. if anyone with better cad skills than me , would like to get their crayons out and refine/redesign this case get in touch. im all for contribution!

I’m not saying that I do, but I do think you have made a great design.
From what I can see, there are just a couple of places I would add chamfers and fillets for strength.
Likely less than a couple of minutes of work for you
