can the flex secure emulate mifare classic? and if so where can i find a applet?
No, MiFare Classic Emulation is not supported, the chips are configured without it to make space for applets (see flexsecure-applets/2-hardware.md at master ¡ DangerousThings/flexsecure-applets ¡ GitHub : âMIFARE Plus EV1 in classic mode 4K appletâ removed).
Even if the applet was on the chip though, its emulation capabilities are stunted as it cant freely change the UID afaik. Unfortunately the Javacard API does not allow to program such low level applets which could change the protocol to Mifare.
I recommend getting a dedicated Mifare implant (in addition).

Damn. I bought an Apex Flex a while ago but havenât gotten to have it installed yet (Iâll have to travel a bit for that). Now Iâm thinking I shouldâve been more patient and gotten the FlexSecure. Since Fidesmo is the only one who has the key to my chip, that means DT wouldnât be able to provide some sort of âunlockingâ service for my dumbass to âconvertâ my Apex into a FlexSecure, right?
