i plan on getting a NExT implant and i have seen people write to them but how do i erase them without messing anything up.

They are protected in a way that you can just format them and write again, but in reality it is easier to just overwrite with a new data set.
Most people here use
TagWriter and NFC Tools
TagWriter does the basics and is an NXP App ( NExT uses an NXP chip on the HF side )
NFC Tools is a 3rd part app but it has more dataset templates.
Either works and no need to worry about messing anything up
