Hey everyone,
We’re getting close to the next big milestone!
So, it’s time to share our $1M stretch goal.
This one is something we’ve been excited about for a long time, because it pushes Kode Dot into an entirely new class of capability.
$1M Stretch Goal: Dual Microcontroller Upgrade (ESP32-P4 + ESP32-C6)

If we reach $1M, we’ll upgrade Kode Dot to a dual-architecture system using both the ESP32-P4 and the ESP32-C6.
This combination brings high performance and ultra-efficient connectivity together in a way no pocket maker device has ever offered.
Maximum Performance with ESP32-P4
Kode Dot will be able to take on heavier workloads without slowing down.
The ESP32-P4 brings:
-
a dual-core RISC-V processor up to 360 MHz
-
built-in hardware for image and voice processing
-
JPEG and H.264 acceleration
That means when you push your projects further: AI experiments, real-time video work, or advanced graphics. Kode Dot will keep up with you!
Connectivity + Efficiency with ESP32-C6
You’ll also get the latest wireless tech at your fingertips: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth LE 5.3, Zigbee 3.0 and Thread.
This lets you connect to more devices, build more freely, and stretch your battery longer, all while staying compatible with the newest IoT environments.
What makes this special?
By combining both chips, we get the best of both worlds:
-
ESP32-P4 handles the heavy lifting
-
ESP32-C6 manages communication and power efficiency
