Laser Hair Removal: Oops?

I don’t recall hair removal lasers being tried before, but someone did test tattoo removal lasers once, not sure how different they are, but there might be some information there for you:

Hey so I did a series of dumb things. Maybe don’t replicate this, but at least it’s some data. First I got a tattoo over my NExT [PXL_20241001_192743603] Then I got a tattoo removal laser (Nd:YAG which is the same type used for sealing the glass) and blasted the shit out of it. [PXL_20240916_195157599] Then I got the implant removed to see if either process had damaged the surface (which would allow for biofouling). Unfortunately I have yet to replace my microscope which broke…
