The one thing I would question is if it checks ATQA and SAK and UID which would be a limiting factor.

I don’t think it does. My friend managed to get authenticated just by changing the uid on his phone to the one he had present in the database.

This is most likely the more reliable retailer for 7B Gen1a MFC.
