I did notice in the past that it would do that and it certainly sounds like an interesting jumping off point. I tested it a few more time and sadly I think this panic release function is completely manual, as it still works even when the battery bank is totally unplugged. So there goes the idea of shorting is sadly. Unless I can remove that lockcase, I think I’ll just have to go back to testing the connections on the rainbow cable until I find our lucky number.
