Re-sterilization Service for Rejected xMagic

If I order the reprocessing service here: https://dangerousthings.com/product/reprocessing/

Am I able to send a bare xMagic implant in and have it re-sterilized and sent back in a new injector assembly? I already ordered a replacement for me but my partner might be interested in implanting it.

Also is that even a good idea? My understanding is calcium ions leech out of the bioglass after implantation to help form an encapsulation. The xMagic implant was one that rejected and had to be removed after a week.

I understand these can also theoretically be autoclaved but am concerned about the effect of the heat on the longevity of the implant.

Yep  just put that in the order notes.

Eh… not enough to worry about. It’s extremely slow and isn’t that key in triggering encapsulation. It’s so little that they can’t even be detected in an ISO10993-12 leeching test.
