I found my reader works best under my desk so I installed it with 2 sided tape

That’s where I have mine at work. Only problem is, if I raise my chair too high and I’m not sitting in it, if I push it under the desk, sometimes the armrest hits the reader.

Hey Roscoe - not surprised others have done this. I noticed that if it’s on the desk I have to twist my wrist a lot or pick the entire reader up so I just put it under the desk. Sad thing is though the “Dangerous Things” logo can’t be seen by people anymore

Get the flexNExT and leave the reader on top of the desk… it’ll read just fine from under or over

I’m still gathering up the nerves to implant that xEM in my foot. After I do, I’ll be able to stick one of my long-range readers on the floor and log in with that.

I suppose it can read through your hand with that distance too.
