A place to show off your xSIID NFC + LED Implant
Be aware that your xSIID blinky may not be visible for some time after installation due to blood surrounding the implant. It can sometimes take days to a couple weeks for full brightness.

Here’s a few different photos of my blue xSIID, read via an Adafruit PN532 shield (the antenna on this thing is crazy, begins reading over a centimeter away). These photos were taken today, approximately 1.5 weeks after installation.

How did you guys get your blinkies so bright? After 4 weeks after implanting my xSIID still doesn’t show up in daylight. To be fair, it’s in my wrist, but I’d still expect a faint glow.
Hmm, maybe it’s purely due to the skin thickness? Or maybe yours is healing a bit weird, but I would think it would be done healing after 4 weeks. Mine glowed bright the first day, but I was told that was just luck. Is your color accurate?
Definitely colour accurate, but only when it’s pitch black. I’ve never seen it glow in daylight. Maybe my skin is thick, but seeing other people’s xSIIDs/xLEDs on their forearms means I think something funky is going on with mines. Although it reads fine with my phone.
here’s mine! funnily enough i get the best glow from these little payment things on vending machines.
