Show off your Flex scars!

It seems to be a function of age and healing as much as anything.

My two oldest scars look like normal skin colour, while the third oldest that I can date is slightly lighter the newest ones tend to be red, then fade to white fairly quickly.

Oldest one it’s close to 50 years old.

Third Oldest it’s about 20 years old now, and you can see a small much more recent one top centre.

None of these are implant related.

Don’t have any implants (yet) but for me it seems like anything sharp turns light and anything that isn’t a clean cut turns dark.

i installed mine september 2021 but it rejected after 2 months :frowning: due to the incision was too close to the chip :frowning: now the doctor installed it again it worked before install i could open doors and use it at my lift but now when its under my skin even my proxmark cant find it :frowning: how long it take you to be able to use after installation first time mine worked straight away

Can you confirm, you are talking about a FlexMT?

Does the Proxmark3, not “see” either the T5577 or the Mifare 1k?

That would be very unusual, and even just after installation, I would expect you could read one, if not both.
Do you have a large amount of fluid build up in the area?
Have you tried reading it with a phone?
Do you have any other readers you can try?
Will your proxmark read other implants/ cards?

and no any fluids builded up like first time and first time i could open doors even it had gauze on and yeah it worked fine before and i even contact the dangerousthiungs owner about how to sterilize it and the doctor who did followed instructions did not autoclaved it used the CHG liquid for 24hours but before that it was sitting in plastic bag for 3 months in dry place and wasnt any liquid in the bag like when i ordered it had some liquid around it…and yes my proxmark read all the other cards and other readers read the card and even 2 readers in my condo read my XM1 but now im just thinking should i just remove it and order new one this shit start to be STUPID

I get that you are frustrated and It is understandable, however, once @amal Amal sees your posts, I know he will sort you out.
I’m sure he will have some questions for you, but in the meantime, find your order number, and just wait for a reply

may i ask how long time it took to heal ? for me the stitches have healed very well and closed good but now it have had some liquid on top of the implant couple day its not painfull or nothing but i was just wondering did you have it too ? and if so how long for? just asking cus i have installed excatly same spot thanks and sorry for my english

My Magic flex still works outside. One day maybe I’ll have the cash to get it back in, may look at if I can get a drain tube atleast for a few days, idk my hands just love to fill up and keep open the wound under the stitches.

Might be a good idea - I had a drain tube after the operation when my flexy was removed, and it definitely helped a lot! Though it felt a bit… strange, and the removal wasn’t really a nice feeling.
Sutures heal terribly bad for me as well, but I can’t keep them too long, because my body hates the stitches… 10-14 days is the absolute maximum, and when I get them out after that time, I’m still afraid the wound might re-open. So last time (Titan install), I got the stitch out after 10 days and wore steristrips for another week or so, this really helped a lot - no irritation for the wound, and no fear of tearing something open again.

FlexClass installed Sept. 2021, photos from May 2022. So, like, 7 months post install

This one points out the scar and shows where the FlexClass sits.
