Smartphones with strong NFC signal / antenna?

Hey, is there some experiences with (older) android smartphones with a good compatibility and strong NFC reception?

Any NFC phone is technically compatible, but you are correct to be curious about antenna design. The only real hurdle is antenna design for talking to something like the xNT.

Hey. I know about this and watched your video how to figure out the antenna orientation with the LEDtag. I already ordered one.

But maybe people like to share their experience with different smartphones.

I own an OnePlus 3 for example, which has, what I read so far, a weak NFC reception and problems with implants.

So there might be devices with better user experiences?

Not sure if I’m too late here, but my Google Pixel XL doesn’t have too bad on a read on the back. The NFC Ring I bought is detected easier than my xNT, but both can still be read.
