Test Cards for all implants

I was thinking it would be great if DT sold test cards for each implant or at least the harder to acquire ones like the M1, xSIID and DF2. I have managed to find all of them that I want myself but for DESFire EV2 8k cards for example I can only find in packs that are much larger than I want. I need 1 or 2 max just so I do not brick my implants. It would also mean that we can link to DT not some random ebay listing of magic backdoor cards when someone wants to know if a xM1 will work for them.

I can see why this is not a priority for DT / @amal but I thought I would raise it too see how much interest there is / if it is likely to happen?

DEFIANTLY! i really want to get a NTAG I2C card to play with. I have got some cool projects in mind using the I2C ability would also be nice to know im not going to kill my xSIID doing something stupid.

We do stock Lab401s test cards but they’re not the cheapest.

I might grab one of those just for the ability to clone a NTAG. Issue is I would not consider a emulator card as a “safe” validation step for my implant. That product is designed to be “unbrickable” where as I want to know wether the commands I intend to run will brick my implant.

One of those in an implant sounds pretty fantastic

Speaking of that, if you carry Magic Chinese gen2 Mifare Classic 1k cards from Lab401, you should recheck them: I ordered a couple a few weeks (months?) ago from them, and they turned out to be gen1a M1ks. They graciously refunded me of course. But the point is, they weren’t the right chips - or the cards were mislabeled. You might have cards from the same batch.

We don’t have their Mifare ones. It’s been in our pipeline to have our own for some time.

They have some which you either just cannot find or are near impossible to get.

I’ve got my own collection of cards which we use internally but hopefully soon we should have our own for sale soon.

Okie  sounds fantastic. I don’t know about magic cards but these are the DESFire ones:

As for the I2C I don’t think outside of @Satur9 making the breakout board business cards I have seen anything so that might not be possible for now.
