Just throwing this out there, to give you the best odds of your video being used be all healed up and shoot portrait–it’s easier to make that format into others than the other way around. Sometimes the traditional framing just can’t be cut into a portrait :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Hi @enginerd

That was a very cool reaction but I recorded a lot more reactions that Amal had when using his payment implant, it never got old.

Although people like Keroppy Maeda (a writer and reporter for several news channels) promotes the world of body modifications like the Beagle-Head in 2007, and there are numerous events of hanging, scaring, and other body mods, Japan is generally is against tattoos because of the huge problems the organized crime had in previous generations, also of course many things that destroy the natural look of a human body like horns and holes or spikes, however, they love to use colored contact lenses, or change their hair color and the use of technology to augment their human capabilities is basically part of their own culture, there are many short novels, mangas and anime that include some type of cybernetic enhancement since the 80s and 90s. The biggest restrain against microchip implants is the lack of services available. But we are working on that pretty hard. Already have approached the goverment and they are extremely curious about what they can do, definitively payments is one of the mayor hopes, after that official identification, which are huge hurdles to jump but with the support of government and a careful approach to promotion and clear communication on usages and limitations we are taking short but firm steps into having a general adoption of microchip implants.

The issue so far in many places is that only a very few people has them, when they are promoted they are promoted with a lot of “in the future” hopes and promises, and the concerns of some other people are not properly addressed, besides the news channels love to appeal to the morbid and fear of technology that has ruled society for hundreds of years already.

When electricity was discovered, it only took a few years for someone to write Frankenstein.

In Japan, we are releasing press releases and are in touch with mayor news channels to aid them to present realistic stories about the actual use cases and benefits of microchip implants.

That’s why this surprises me a bit:

Most of their fictional cyborgs have obviously mechanical and very visible body parts. But I would be lying if I didn’t want to get all of those fictional upgrades myself. And yes, I’m thinking of Briareos Hecatonchires from the Appleseed manga.

Humans…
:emoji_facepalm:

That’s how it’s done! :+1:t2:

I hope that DT catches on over there.
