It’s kinda a thing… damage to the body can release tons of hormones and inflammation signaling chemicals and white blood cells and a cascade of responses… not to mention the risk of infection… it changes what’s expressed in milk… and can change the baby’s “growth mode” in response to conditions the mother is facing… it’s wild.
