You are putting padding on top, but there’s nothing to spread the pressure from the inside

Thought I would post what is hopefully the final update to this thread. I continued using the magnet on and off for about a week after my last post, mainly when I was just sitting at my desk. I would take it off every hour or so to let things breathe, and to ensure blood still flowed. The implant finally seems to be encapsulated and happy. It hasn’t moved in 3 weeks, even with normal hand usage now (used to shift when I put my hand in my pocket to grab something, all good now). I’m calling this a success. Just finished my 3 week course of pre-natals a few days ago, so from here on out whatever happens happens I guess. I’ve been decent about not poking at them too much, so hoping they stay in their homes now. My xSIID shifted the most overall, about 5mm down and 5mm backwards. Still in a totally fine spot though, that happened early on, likely due to using my right hand a ton for carrying stuff (moving stuff in and out of my dorm as we get ready to be sent back home, plus groceries). So it seems like if anyone else has issues with implant migration right on a joint, this might be a viable method, as long as you keep a VERY close eye on it, to avoid necrosis (would be very bad obviously). The final note, I would ensure you use the smallest viable magnet you have to avoid pinching too hard. Mine was only a few mm in diameter. Flatter and wider magnets are good too, the surface area seems to help spread out the pinching, at least on the one side.
