Hello,

I have a NExT v2 implant and my doctor requires confirmation that diagnostic ultrasound imaging is safe with this implant.

Could you please confirm that the NExT v2 (passive RFID/NFC implant in bioglass) is safe for ultrasound procedures?

I’m not aware of much that isn’t safe for ultrasound. We’ve never tested it so we can really give confirmation that it would be safe. I can only give my opinion that it should be.

We have no official tests for the Apex line. All we have is anecdotal evidence of several Apex customers going through MRI procedures with no reported consequences.
