Why use acetone when you can just use a lighter to remove a credit card chip

Their conversion may do, but my manufacturer Crypto has NFC and works well.
I’ve never done a side by side comparison with another card.

I was talking about the metal card conversions, I don’t see the point.

Metal cards with functional NFC sound rather cool. I kinda want one now, along with an x-ray machine… For science…

I’m ok with standing out like a sore thumb for doing what I want to do. However, showing off is not a motivation for me.

They also encode the mag strip, so if the chip fails 3 times you can still swipe. All of the above are prone to skimming though including tap to pay with your card, the only “safest” option is using tap to pay with a virtual wallet. Those do not share actual card numbers like the NFC on bank cards do.
