This serves to be a quck and simple how to and where to place your repeater sticker for the best performance.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Repeater sticker of your choosing: MFGC or RSP
- Reader of your choice: Flipper Zero, Phone, wall reader, or ProxMark3* etc…
- A Field Detector OR Field Meter of your choice
- I recommend a Midwest Gadgets Field detector or for a phone or Field Meter as they make placement easier
- Pencil, or appropriate marker for the substrate you are marking
*If you have a PM3 Easy, I would recommend a booster board over a sticker
STEPS
For this, I will be using:
- Flipper Zero (in Cyborg mode)
- MFGC ( I fucken love the performance of these )
- Field Meter ( I like the extra accuracy of numbers )
- Mechanical pencil ( Thin, works on plastic, and can be erased )
Step 1
Make sure your reader is transmitting ( Fliiper Zero in this instance )
Step 2
Clean the surface ( I totally did that…)
Step 3
Move your Field Detector or Meter around to where you find the Highest MegaHammy or brightest light
(Mega Hammy in my video, and you can see where I have already marked it at its highest Mega Hammy reading)
Step 4
Hold the Field Detector or Meter still over the Highest Mega Hammy or Brightest light, use your drawing implement to mark the placement area
Step 5
Peel the backing and place the sticker
Step 6
