xMagic Migrating close to injection site - Should I worry?

Apologies for posting yet another migration thread, but I would greatly appreciate some advice.

I had my xMagic implanted 2 days ago (see London installers thread) and it seems to be healing well. I kept a dressing on until this morning and the wound seems fairly well closed.

Should I be worried that the implant has moved very close to the injection site?

I’m happy with the position of it, but is there a risk of it reopening the wound while it’s still healing? Or am I healed enough that won’t happen?

nah you’re fine. it’s just finding where it wants to naturally settle.

the insertion wound and tunnel will be closing up as we speak and will have already done so to a significant amount preventing it from “slipping” out in that direction.

you should only worry if the tip of the implant is pushing up against the insertion site like a chestburster.

the site looks good, not red not inflamed so it doesn’t look like it’s rejecting, just finding where it wants to settle given the movement of your hand, much better in the long run

Thank you! Yeah, it seems to be settling into a good position.

I’ve been avoiding using that hand as much as possible so as not to disturb it. If the risk of it escaping back out the way it came in is low, then I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing.
