XNT Purchase Questions

Hi
thank you for reading my post.
In the office we use a custom made (by me :grin:) we use it mostly with Mifare 1k cards this is the exact kit I bought for the office my question is will the xnt chip work with my readers and is the XNT rfid (13,56mhz) and nfc

it might be an extremly stupid question but I want to be sure before I implant something for the first time

Kind regards Jason

From the datasheet for the MFRC522 chip used on the kit

The MFRC522 is a highly integrated reader/writer IC for contactless communication
at 13.56 MHz. The MFRC522 reader supports ISO/IEC 14443 A/MIFARE and NTAG.

Should work fine as long as your code is just reading the UID and not taking advantage of the MIFARE features.

How well the antenna will couple with the xNT is a different story. I’ve not used one of those. I’ve only used the one dangerous things sells based off the PN532 chip (works well with the xNT)

@turbo2ltr
thank you for your reply that’s great that means I can go ahead with my purchase thank you very much
do you by any chance have a link with resources with Mifare features

best regards
Iason

It’s all in the datasheet.
