About Me

I’m an Aussie, in Computer science and engineering at RMIT, I first saw implants in 2018 in this video by The Thought Emporium about their sensing magnet. I’ve been thinking about it ever since, and eventually I came across DT and suggested to one of my friends that we could get NExTs together at some point. I ordered them that afternoon. I now have 6 implants and no plan of stopping.

I’m planning 2/3 more in my next batch (Magic MIFARE, one of 2 options with raibow lights (join the DT club to learn more), flexNT)

1 The HF side has a rickroll or a link to my HiHello card on it (depending on company) and turns on my phone torch. The LF side isn’t working right now but I think that’s my fault…

2 Westpac Paywear sent to @amal for conversion. I was going to do the conversion myself (minus the bio-coating) with a rainbow ring of LEDs but I need more practice (got 4 years now till this one expires to practice), it also unlocks my rooted Pixel 4A with Tasker and a shell command that types my pin (nothing else worked). It seems to have a MIFARE Classic tag on it, so I played arround and managed to put a rickroll on it as well but not all phones can read it

3 For sensing, showing off, and holding screws and bits (it’s not quite strong enough though)

4 DON’T F#%KING DO THIS. I bought a few animal ID chips off ebay, and got my friend to put one in. It’s stupid, not usefull and not worth it, but it’s to much work to take it out now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ anyway, I registered myself in the animal database

5 Currently has my friends house key on it

6 I’ve only had it for a week but it is WORLDS better than my xG3v1

LD being the Dorsal side of the left hand (back of the hand)
Don’t know why you’re still reading, but
16 could be above the distal phalanx of the thumb
17-20 above the distal phalanges of each finger
LP could be the palm side I guess
LW could be wrist? maybe LW1 - LW4?
or LF for forearm?
