This category has been exclusively established for our prolific contributors who make build and share things with the rest of the community.
To reach this point, the contributor should have
shared more than 10 SIGNIFICANT projects or write ups with the community.
Ranty justification
I didn’t realize how difficult this write up would be until I started putting “pen to paper”
when you start segregating people into groups it can be difficult keeping everybody happy.
There are plenty of honourable mentions that could be in here, but this isn’t a participation trophy, its for people going that extra mile, putting in time, money and effort and sharing with the rest of us who benefit
I hate listing names, because I can’t just list everybody, but it’s the best way to give examples. these are just the first few that spring to mind, there will be more to follow.
These projects dont need to be a physical things, online tools or guides it could be 10 OUTSTANDING detailed, well researched write ups.
eg. @GrimEcho, @Jirvin have some good ones under their belts, when we are looking near 10 they will be joining the others
Unfortunately, I don’t think replies would fit into this category is they belong in the street that were posted?, which is unfortunate as there would be some strong contenders such as @Equipter , @Aoxhwjfoavdlhsvfpzha and others for their tech support
As I work through the forum, there may be others, like @Aoxhwjfoavdlhsvfpzha for his online PM3 guides and implant info. @Zwack had a few projects
Just because you are not mentioned yet, don’t think your contributions arent still appreciated.
To kick things off there will be subcategories for:
I always planned on doing one for @Rosco also, as I feel like a bunch of people have missed out on his great suite of tools.
I really shouldn’t be posting all of this. In this thread, but it will be tidyed up in due course. However, I’ve since had another idea, and I will fix this shortly
I put “completed” in topic titles fo assist with this. And I have the “sexy lab” over on the discord for the same reason. So I’m in. Lemme know what u need.
Just bear with me folks as I work my way through it, I’m away for a few weeks and it will take me a while to sort it all out and it’ll be far easier on a PC
There is a ton of really useful, specific knoweldge contained in this forum, and anything that helps organize it is great. I have a lot of bookmarks (via Discourse) and use the search functionality in /activity/bookmarks as a sort of personal wikipedia.
Moving/placing some of those posts into a contributors category seems like a great idea.
