I have two Access Controllers and a NExT implant. I’ve cloned my work badge onto the NExT, but it doesn’t seem like the Access Controllers accept a non-EM4100 tag. I’ve gotten it to save a new EM4100 tag, but not my implant. Is this expected behavior since I basically have an HID card on my implant?

Yeah it’s unfortunate that the xac only supports EM mode.

Good to know, that. Now I know I’ll definitely be leaving my EM chip in and implant another one for work, since I ordered an Access Controller. I was under the impression that it supported several protocols. That’s why I was vaguely considering taking out the EM…
