After some prior advice I ordered a flexClass (HID iClass) unit for a singular purpose: To add my (home) building access fob to it. If this is all I can do with it, great - I’ll never carry my keys again. That said, can I add anything else to this implant in addition to the fob? My contact card, other handy things?

nope. iclass can’t be used for NDEF (contact cards, urls etc) even if the chipset theoretically could be used for that, you’d not be able to have that data & your PACs (physical access control data, read: your front door data) on it at the same time.
the only other way to extend the functionality of it would be to DIY a device(s) that also use the chip’s CSN or PACs data IE making things within your home unlockable with the implant.
