Am I in Trouble? (T5577)

I’m in the same boat, but worse. My t5 info’s return nothing, and lf search -u returns different results, sometimes indala, sometimes PSK clock is detected. Sometimes ASK clock is detected. Sometimes both PSK and ASK clocks are detected. None of the readily available/searchable recovery commands including in test mode, or scripts included with pm3 have worked/revived it. lf t5 dump shows nothing…blank, no rows. I am running lf tune and making sure I’m getting the best coupling I can, and I’m running an pm3 rdv4, firmware and client match, and are the latest as of July 26th. Have I succeeded in actually bricking my xem?

What happens when you use LF tune and work through antenna over the transponder? Does it dip appropriately? If not then your t5 might actually have a physical connection problem.

It dips from 72 to 58-64-ish

Hmm that’s the total number? Can you screen record with obs or something? That’s not a lot of current draw.

Just to give my 2 cents: it really really helps to get a ferrite rod and wind your own antenna. You can basically point the end of it on the implant area and read it. I was even able to write through the needle with it before implanting.

I used these rods:

Along with kapton tape and this magnet wire:

I don’t remember the specifics (how long, how many turns) but there is a guide on this forum.

I also have a proxgrind/DT LF antenna – it didn’t make any difference in my case.

Here’s a screen-cap – let me know if you want to see anything specific

thanks for the vid. i was specifically hoping for a vid of the lf tune process, while you talked through (on mic) how you were moving the proxmark over your t5577

also which product is this? is it an xEM , NExT, xMagic? something else?

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood the ask. It’s an XEM – I’m at work so can’t re-record at the moment, but basically on Proxmark3 Iceman Collection x Proxgrind antenna, I’m angling my hand and implant so the side of the xem with the best reception is partially over the upper right corner, crossing the upper antenna at a perpendicular angle, and pressing down so the implant is as close as possible. When using the Proxgrind/DT LF cylinder antenna, I hold my implant so it’s at a 45° angle outward from the end. Same results from either antenna.
