Apparently I’m the only nerd I know that watches monster movies. Got my first tattoo today (yaaaay!)
Showed it off to some friends and family and keep getting something like: “oh thats cute, it’s a digital butterfly right?”

Once this heals, then 2 more implants, then another tattoo on the other forearm… Once I get the little Godzilla on the other side, it’ll make more sense to the masses I’m hoping.

I have a few tattoos from Firefly and Serenity. Every once in a while I’ll meet a fellow brown coat, but most of the time anyone says something about them, it’s just “that’s a nice quote” or “that’s an interesting logo.”
My GF and I were just talking about how it’s fun to wear an obscure tshirt that the majority of people won’t get, but the endorphin rush when someone does get it, and you start geeking out over it with them is fun lol

Of all the movie corporate logos, cyberdyne, weyland etc monarch has always been my favourite for some reason. Bravo on such a bold tattoo!

Backstory: according to my mom, once I was big enough to figure out how to turn on the TV (anybody remember the Before Times, when we only had 3 or 4 channels and no remote?). She’d put me to bed Sat nite, and find me asleep on the couch Sun morn. Turns out, I’d wake up at like 2am to watch the 1960’s ish Godzilla reruns.
Out of all my favorite video games and TV shows and movies, Godzilla been my fav my whole life.
