Agreed.

I really like the previous one, but somehow, you made this better and even more professional

Love the new look!

@Pilgrimsmaster is for President :amal:

As a side note though, it seems to state no internet connection despite having one when trying to manage the applets. I did disconnect my VPN which shouldn’t have an effect, but nothing still. I looked at the logcat but unsure what information is in there, so not posting it publicly.

Additionally, is this app slower than the older version when scanning the Apex 2? Kinda slightly noticed a delay.

Thanks!

You will need to go to Android settings - > apps - > apex manager

And explicitly grand it the network permission

Always with the forgetting reply

the internet connection and slowness have to do with the app now interacting with the Fidesmo API backend. We are doing a lot on that initial scan, and now we’ve added API calls to the mix. If the app is complaining about no internet then there may be timeouts involved where the app is just waiting for api calls to fail, which can (in some cases) be slower than if they had actually gone over the internet successfully.

the app should ask / get this permission on installation or first use.. but maybe not? @hoker would know.

Nicely done, @hoker!

Only small thing I noticed. If installation of an applet fails due to insufficient resources, the app indicates this, but does not provided a way to remove the partial installation like the official Fidesmo app does.

It didn’t for me, but I’m on GrapheneOS and it’s weird in that way
