Apex stopped working!

I have backup codes for everything but this still seems like it’s going to be a massive headache. No response to my USB reader, phone (two apps), access control device. My X-Series respond to all the above.

Flexing it slightly doesn’t make it read. Seems more like chip cooked rather than the coil is broken, but I am no expert. @amal Would this qualify for a replacement (I sent in a message via the red “help” button already)? Is there any way to recover the data from it? It is installed in P3, but it really didn’t seem like it’s been under that much stress during it’s lifespan. Only had it installed for 1 year.

Big sad moment… I think whatever happens I might go for redundancy with two Javacard implants like Amal.

I did that for 2 reasons.
Backup and overflow

I haven’t needed the backup because my Apex has been rock steady and I’ve had it since the first batch.

I have needed the overflow.

My FlexSecure Journey

100% My Apex will remain my Number 1, but super thankful for the FlexSecure option. If I was reccomending to others, unless they were really well versed in Java, I would suggest to get an Apex first, learn how it works with the ease of install of applets. I set up all my applets with my Apex, now the FlexSecure is a just a simple “transfer” After my first command, this is what it came back with [image]
