I am also a regular Plasma donor, In New Zealand, it USED to be 4 Months stand down period after piercing, It is now 6 Months.

If you have recently had a tattoo or body piercing you cannot donate for 4 months from the date of the procedure. If the body piercing was performed by a registered health professional (e.g. a Pharmacist, GP etc.) and any inflammation has settled completely, you can donate blood after 12 hours.

I actually donated just over 2 weeks ago and happened to take a photo of the new stand down period

If I went to a body mod artist and asked them to do something for me that they weren’t comfortable doing legally or even if they weren’t sure they had the skills to do it, but they still tried it as a favour, and if they fucked it up, I would see that as my fault.
