Been refused MRI (UK)

I understand that the people above are joking, but I just want to add some advice for those that come to this thread from google. Advice I’ve learned from watching the people closest to me die including the love of my life. No possession, tech, implant, toy, or device will ever be worth more than your health and your life. If your health or life is at risk absolutely do anything you can to get the proper treatment Including removing any implants.

There are Doctors that will trust the research done on the subject, There are radiologists that will be fascinated and talk your ear off, read the documentation, and then still give you the treatment cautiously. Every human on this planet is a collection of knowledge and experiences. Implants are so new that most will be encountering them for the first time and will be hesitant; not because they are scared for themselves, or biased, but because they are looking out for you.

I know from first-hand experience the only thing medical professionals care about is fixing what’s wrong with you. I know this from literally carrying my friend into an ER when he stopped breathing after an OD. No cops, nothing, just treatment. While what we are doing isn’t illegal or wrong, my point is to just tell medical professionals you have implants. They’ll love it because, trust me, they have seen it all and it will probably be something new. They however can’t fix whatever is wrong with you unless you tell them everything.

If you get turned down for an MRI just keep looking and you’ll find someone willing to do the legwork and research to know it’s safe to get your treatment. However, if you need the treatment now, your life is on the line, then please save yourself and the ones that care about you life changing grief and just remove the implant. you can always get new ones, but you only have one life.
