I’m specifically looking to clone the Hop Fastpass transit card which is used in Portland, OR. According to my research, it uses a MIFARE DESFire EV1 chip. I currently have an xSIID and Apex Mega Spectrum implanted with an xEM on the way, but would probably purchase an additional implant for this purpose if needed.
My initial assumption was that the xM1 might do the trick, but I know that’s out of stock on the DT store - not sure if it’ll be back or not.

As far as i know, there is no way to clone a DESFire chip.
Your only option would be to get your own DESFire chip enrolled to the system.
But unless you know the persons in charge or are good at social engineering, chances of getting it done are small.
A xM1 is a magic Mifare classic chip, not a DESFire one
There will very likely be a bit more to this, so not as easy as you would hope.

Long story short, if you want this, it will likely need to be a custom conversion
I think you might be out of luck. The best you could hope for is probably a conversion of the card into a flex implant
