Best placement for xG3 v1 in the hand?

Hey everyone, I recently bought an xG3 v1 and I’m trying to decide on the best spot to have it implanted in the hand. From what I know, the v1 is mainly used for sensing, so I’m looking for the most effective or comfortable location ideal for that.

I have one in the back of my hand next to the middle knuckle. It doesn’t provide any sensory assistance to me except when very close to high voltage lines.

I know some people have installed in fingertips, but that will be painful and obviously require you to have fairly large fingers.

I am sure someone with such an install will be along shortly to outline their experience.

I have a xG3 v1 (resin variant) in P2. I use it to hold small metal objects like screws and bottlecaps, You can use if for some rough sensing as well. It works well with a Lodestone Pico.
