No I seriously doubt the xM1 has been patched out… the empty fobs they ship with the Ezon locks are all S50 1k classic Mifare (4 byte NUID) with no data written to sectors, so unless they are actively checking for gen1a backdoor magic mifare chips (extremely unlikely), the lock won’t know the difference between the fob and the xM1.
