Still haven’t implanted my xEM to test that, so I can’t confirm. There is the video of @turbo2ltr using his…so we have a last one member that confirmed that it works.
And @Pilgrimsmaster we’re off on a tangent talking about the Combi-cam lock now, not the subject of this thread. That lock is HF, Combi-cam is LF. I guess we should probably branch off to a different thread to continue discussion.
And on backup power…the Combi-cam website shows a tutorial where they take two paper clips to a coin cell, then touch the LEDs to briefly give it enough juice to unlock.
I was hoping this would be the perfect solution for a cam-based RFID lock with backup number pad (for the wife). Mine is installed, and works great with just the keypad entry for now…like I mentioned, I don’t have my xEM installed yet.
Thanks for the testing. Based on my limited testing with field detectors and even my Flipper, our results are identical.
The manual mentions pressing # to wake the lock up before it will accept RFID tags. Have you been doing that?
Edit: looks like its wake period is 3 seconds
