I bought the proxmark3 from Dangerous things and followed the setup guide but at the step where I’m supposed to execute ‘./pm3-flash-bootrom’, it says failed to communicate with proxmark although I can see the proxmark in my device manager.
Could someone please help me?
can you post screenshots of your pm3 environment with the error code, and also a cap of your device manager showing the pm3 com port?
Also what are the LEDs on your proxmark doing when you plug it in?
normally when going from an older bootrom, we suggest that you do the “button-trick” to enter bootloader fast and just flash it.
Then proceed with flashing fullimage as normal.
Once on the newer bootrom you find it is quite hard to have any issues with new enumeration of serial ports or delays,
