You’re probably giving him ideas…
And @Az_F will probably hate you for the request that he’s going to get…
The idea is there. The conversation has happened. Only time will tell…
I didn’t know if it was going to record the sound or not. It’s cool that you left it in! Sweet edit! Thanks to @JPlowman
Watching this after the fact and hearing the sounds I felt was wild. Specifically the dog barking and engine sounds. That exactly what I felt in my finger.
The object locating game was great to hear the increase as you get closer too. I felt it, and it felt exactly like what you hear.
@Az_F is doing awesome things! Everyone not just people with magnets in their hands should try this! It will blow your mind!
Thank you for letting me be a part of it!
Hey, I had a couple things pop up this morning I gotta take care of at home right quick. I’ll be over soon, but for those going to the fan expo thing, I’d go ahead and go. I’ll bring the stapler up and whatnot when I come over.
I just tried watching the clip using a pico–it works! Not as slick as driving and using the gizmo @Az_F made specifically for this but it’ll give folks an inkling.
Holy shit, I don’t know that stuff was live… that’s fuckin dope
What did you order? And how much extra was it?
When does DT send out its implantation drones?
Get out of my head!
Also, I like the multicopter fixed wing hybrid. Although I assume that the added rotors make the parasitic drag a little worse.
I ordered ice cream and nutty bars, couple of others got Zyrtec and some donuts. Surprisingly, there was no delivery fee or tax. I guess it must be some promotional thing. They also had an option where you could order free cookies just to see the drone.
Amazon was doing this for a bit in the Metroplex but people kept shooting at them
Yea this design doesn’t really tickle me….
Seems too inefficient
There’s a nice design I’ve see where the wings fold and twist backwards, transitioning between a normal 4 engine aircraft design, and typical 4 engine quad copter
Looks very sleek and efficient, but I wonder if there’s a requirement to have redundant engines, even if you can still operate on 3
I was just waiting to see it drop the package into the pool.
Same, cyborg minds think alike or something by the look of things.
Maybe it’s all the threads we derailed…
Fancier yes but moving parts like that will inevitably lead to more maintenance and lower ROI vs fixed motor solutions. If you watch the video you can see the moment it switches from vertical motors to horizontal thrust … the entire drone pitches a bit but it corrects itself quickly and flies off.
