Yesterday DHL finally arrived with my 2pcs Magic Ring and one Proxmark3!
I’m just getting into all this and have watched almost every tutorial you have.
However, I was able to successfully clone my home tag (LH) to the LH chip on the ring and it works like a charm!
But then I tried to copy my work tag (HF) to the HF side of the ring and followed the tutorial on how to get the keys and extract everything to a dump file. The thing is that in the tutorial he then used an Android phone to paste the data over to the ring, and I don’t have an Android so I tried to write over the data manually with Proxmark3.
And it’s after that stuff became weird. So can anyone please help me first confirm if my ring is bricked, or if it can be restored to normal again?
well bad news ma friend, the ring is fucked but the block 0 should be fine so if you’re only using it for it’s UID you still can use it but other than that the ring is bust
Hahah, didn’t even take me 24h to brick this ring! I totally missed the info on that gen2 is easy to brick so I wasn’t even cautious.
Hopefully it works on the work reader, haven’t tried yet!

One more question, since I have another ring. How would I clone everything from a Mifare Classic tag unto my other ring? So I don’t brick it this time… still don’t have an android so can’t follow your tutorial.
