Our local community has discussed this video some time ago. It’s fake, as the ring in the end of the video is not the same. In the end the ring was made from a solid piece of wood.
Any way it’s possible, but you’ll need to calculate the inductance of the coil, not to just bend it around. And I suppose the position of the coil is wrong and the chip will not be read if it positioned this way. You need to put your hand in the fist so that the coil is in a position parallel to the reader.

In general this can work, if you have skills and patience :blush:
