They are basically identical, ( Same P71 chip) but brief differences:
FlexSecure - Untethered, needs some programming knowledge to setup / useApexFlex - Tethered to Fidesmo, but this means it is more Plug and play.
On them, to finally answer your crypto question, you can easily store the Pharses as I mentioned, but also, have a look at satochip.io
There are applets for Satochip for the ApexFlex
I am only guessing, but these SHOULD??? be able to be manually deployed to the FlexSecure

What are the differences truly? I get that there’s no fidesmo support on the flexsecure but I’m not entirely sure what that means. I want to be able to do OTP and NAK but I don’t know which implant is better for me.
