I need dumps from several GDX (PCF7936) fobs — it will help me create a proper cloning plugin.
**I’m dropping the topic since there’s no interest. **
Ha, a 5 hour window…
that’s a bit rough.
I’m not saying you would have had more interest with more time, but who knows ![]()
FYI
From my observations, The iCopyX is not very popular, It could have been a great tool, but they made some poor decisions, and now with the announcement of the Proxmark5, I think the interest in iCopyX will drop even further
Lab401 — not the others who pretend to be authors. They only modify the code !!!
A small clarification, since some criticism has come my way: I have never claimed to be the author of anything that wasn’t mine. My plugins were entirely my own work, and any modifications I made were purely graphical. The real authors of everything are Lab401 — and especially ETOILE401. I’m talking about the pseudo‑authors, some so‑called gurus — not the Lab401 team. I regret publishing the Hitag2 fix!!! It’s interesting how none of the “smart heads” managed to get the iCopy‑XS to communicate with Hitag2, and I wonder how long it would have stayed just a dream… And honestly, my fix gave the device a completely new capability it practically never had — and instead of thanks, I got grief for it. Since someone already managed to download my sources, you’ll notice that in activity_main.py I added support for entering decimal numbers in the plugin. I used this in one of my plugins to avoid relying on hex input. For example: constants.py handles various UI‑related definitions — including the color configuration used throughout the menu system. I was planning to add auto‑scan support for things like Hitag2… but I’m giving up on that, because I’d just end up being accused of something again. From now on, any changes or new plugins I make will be private and only for myself and my friends. I’m done with publishing anything publicly.
And here’s a fragment of my patch:
Code
diff --git a/armsrc/hitag2.c b/armsrc/hitag2.c
index f64620108..1ab382e19 100644

+// Code modification for iCopy‑XS, authored by (jareckib) <---- who is the author???
I also noticed that some PAC fobs — the black rectangular ones — are not read by the iCopy‑XS. They require a modification similar to the one for Hitag2… but this fix will no longer be public. And the author of the Hitag2 its me. If someone wants to use my patch, they must credit me as the author.
And if I find out that someone has used my settings to implement Hitag2 support in their code without my approval, I will definitely not be happy — especially considering the criticism that has already been thrown at me!!! If I manage to achieve full LF‑range compatibility between the iCopy‑XS antenna and the Proxmark3, that will be a big success… because unfortunately I have many fobs that the Proxmark3 reads flawlessly, while the iCopy‑XS cannot read them due to its different antenna. But that’s something for myself — not for those who only make small modifications. But I’m not publishing anything anymore ![]()

And if I have violated any copyrights in any way, then only those belonging to Lab401 and their team — because every other person is simply making small adjustments to their code.
And to all those claiming that I supposedly sign myself somewhere as the author of something that isn’t mine — let them show me where I supposedly sign myself as the author, and send me the exact fragment of that code.
