Glow scar planning process/questions

Hello. New to glow scarrification (as well as any other scarrification for that matter). I’ve read through the guide that someone had kindly posted and started skimming through other posts, but I have other questions and figured it’d just be best to ask to see if anyone has knowledge/advice to offer on them. Nothings set in stone yet, still deciding on what I want to do/do first.

- I like the glowing band around the lower forearm and was debating it as a first piece/trial run. In general how many grams of powder has it taken anyone to fill this one? Trying to figure out a safe range of how much would be necessary to do a band roughly 22cm. Are their any rough general guidelines/formula to figure out how much powder should be needed based on area being filled? Wouldnt want to get as far as the packing step and realize I didnt have enough glow powder to fill it proper.

- I’m debating a rose silhouette on my shoulder or possibly forearm. Most of the work I’ve seen involves packing lines cut into the skin, what about a larger skinned area? How would the healing process differ for a skinned silhouette roughly 7cm by 4cm, 5cm by 3cm, with a depth of about 2mm - 3mm (probably closer to 2mm)? I’m debating a rose silhouette on my shoulder or possibly forearm. Would a more open area not hold the powder, or just make retaining the powder more difficult? Other considerations? (Measurements not specific, just ideas.) Would their be a maximum size area of skin that would be reccomended not to go over/over at a time to improbe likelyhood of powder retention?

- How easy is it to continue/connect/add on to a previous piece of glow scar work if planning on doing something in sections at a time. If I went with the shoulder rose I would like to go back after it is healed proper and continue winding the thorny stem down around the arm ending as close as safely possible to my wrist, with some space inbetween each row (possibly adding other things later on in the space between rows). Is it possible to connect to an existing piece to keep going? If so how long would be reccomended between continuations? What about the elbow and elbow crease, are these areas strict no goes or do they have specific guidelines on how to approach?

- Question about detail in a piece. Another idea I was thinking about is a key that would have the two swans, heads together with their necks making a heart, wings out to the sides as the top of the key (story: My wife and I dated for 3 years highschool into college, splitting up (my fault and one of my biggest regrets). By chance our paths crossed 13 years later, and I got a second chance I never thought possible. Anyway, when we initialy broke up she had apparently gotten a tattoo for me of a heart that was locked and had a keyhole. I’ve been wanting to do a key as a companion piece to her tattoo, the two swans were the cake topper at our wedding and swans are significant to her for other reasons as well).

How likely are smaller details to make it through the healing process (like if the wings werent solid but more like close segmented pieces with a thin line of flesh between their parts, or if I wanted to go for some sharper edges and pointed tips)? Would detail retention be more/somewhat dependent on scale? Would it be best to stick with more of a thin outline?

- Healing process, wound cleaner. I was planning on using “silver honey rapid wound repair antimicrobial spray gel”. I’ve read that the glow powder can degrade quicker shen exposed to acidic environments long term. The spray gel is supposed to be ph balanced, but should I still be concerned over the acidity of the honey it contains or should that be a non issue? Does it matter that its a gel or would that be beneficial to maintaining moisture in the wound?

Sorry for the length, and thanks for any help/input.
