Can you show a screenshot of the device manager showing the NFC reader? looking into buying one, but i’d like the 5G version, altough according to microsoft website it might not have the NFC.
So if you can share that i know what to look for

It works really well on my Gen 8 Thinkpad, where the NFC antenna is the whole mousepad.

The 5G versions aren’t supported to my knowledge. Model 2079 is your best bet for a surface device.
@StarGate01 suggestion might be a better option. The reader on the surface is in a really inconvenient position IMO.
