HID Cloning not working with T55X7 But IO prox works

I have tried copying the following card using the code below and I can never get it to stick to a t55x7 card

[+] [H10301 ] HID H10301 26-bit FC: 122 CN: 52422 parity ( ok )
[+] [ind26 ] Indala 26-bit FC: 1964 CN: 3270 parity ( ok )

[+] Valid HID Prox ID found!

lf hid clone -w H10301 --fc 122 --cn 52422

But then I wrote a io prox card to the exact one I was trying and it worked perfectly, I have tried lf t5 detect and wiping it multiple times, any suggestions?

Have you tried a lf hid clone -r 2006f5998d?

When the clone fails, does it fail completely, or just have the wrong data?

Got another T5577?

I have :frowning: and it doesn’t fail completely, just nothing shows up when I lf search, it seems like the card isn’t taking the clone

Try using lf hid reader -@ to scan around for the card a little bit, it might help

Thanks for the tip, I’ll try tomorrow when I’m at my computer

Sadly it still doesn’t detect, I am not sure why since the io prox one worked, I would assume the hid should work since they both use lf technology.

Can you screenshot the startup of the PM3 client to show the client and firmware versions match?

At this point beyond testing a different T5577 just to make sure it isn’t a weird issue with the target card, I’d suggest just retrying the clone several times to see if you can get it to stick, sometimes they’re picky

I’d definitely recommend trying different positions of the tag on/under/around the PM3 too, it can make a big difference

Thanks for the tip on trying around the card, I have tried cloning it multiple times as I know it sometimes takes a few tries, but hopefully I can figure something out.
