Well you know, it’s like everything new that you do for the first time: it’s a learning curve. I look back at this and realize now how utterly reckless that was. But that’s the power of hindsight.

Also, this simple jab job from a seemingly clean and serious tattoo parlor was so botched I lost feeling in my thumb and index finger for 2 days, and my hand and half my arm turned blue to the extent that I felt a need to pay a visit to the ER. Small wonder I kept at it really…

Now that I’ve gained the experience, I’m perfectly comfortable getting this outlandish-looking guy I know and trust slice me open with super-sharp scalpels and violently rip my skin apart with blunt instruments. It’s like super normal now :slight_smile:
